The funeral service for B.F. Shaw, 87, of Westover, was held at 12 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with Travis R. Trimble Jr. officiating. Burial followed at Pinelawn Gardens. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mr. Shaw, who passed away Sunday, April 20, 2008, at his home, was born May 14, 1920, in Jefferson County. He is preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Edith Shaw, and a grandson, Ben Jones.

He is survived by his three daughters, Connie (Bruce) Jones, Glenda (Butch) Mason and Wanda (John) LoVoy; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred S. Payne; and a host of other family and friends.
