Memorial service for Milly Higgins, 70, of Columbiana, was at 7:15 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2008, at Lester’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Visitation was from 6-7 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Higgins, who passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, at a local nursing home, was born Feb. 8, 1938, in Blountsville.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold Higgins; children, Susan Denise (Ken) Jernigan, Hal (Jenny) Higgins and Melinda (Dennis) Butts; seven grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.

Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directed
