Funeral service for Terry Glenn Lawson, 47, of West Blocton, was held on Friday April 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Rockco Chapel in Montevallo. The Rev. James Blair officiated. Burial followed at Oak Mountain Cemetery in Pelham.

Lawson, who passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at his home, was a member of Oak Mountain Baptist Church.

He worked for Jim Burke Automotive for 20 years, and then as an electrician for 10 more years until he became disabled. Mr. Lawson also graduated from Aviation College in Dothan where he was on the dean’s list.

He is survived by his daughters, Amethyst Hardy, Stevie Lawson and Michelle Lawson; mother, Betty Moore Kendrick; sisters, Pam Sparks and Sherry Wayman; brothers, Lloyd Lawson, Jr., Dennis Lawson and Randy Lawson and 3 grandchildren, Caleb, Lexie, and Cane.
