Funeral service for Perry Motes, 53, of Helena, was held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel with Rev. Joel Sims officiating. Burial followed at Pelham City Cemetery. Visitation was held Friday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mr. Motes, who passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at a local hospital, was born May 5, 1954, in Jefferson County.

He is survived by his son, Jason (Ashley) Motes; Mindy Motes; grandchildren, Gage Motes, Dailynn Motes and Zach Dixon; brother, Earl Motes; sisters, Bobby Jean Efferson and Betty Sue Hamrick; special friend, Karen Brasher; and a host of other family and friends.
