Sav-A-Life Shelby held a Walk for Life April 26 at Valleydale Church. More than 45 churches and 165 people participated in the event. The walk provides the group with one fourth of its operating budget.

According to its mission statement, Sav-A-Life Shelby is a faith-based organization that seeks to glorify God through sharing the gospel, love and the hope of Jesus Christ to women in crisis, as they uphold the sanctity of human life
