Kenneth and Connie Wilson of Columbiana proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Kendra Nicole Wilson, to Tyler Brent Nix, son of Brent Nix of Wilsonville and Danna Morris of Hueytown.

The bride is the granddaughter of Walter Jr. and Jeanette Wilson of Calera and the late Wayne Epperson of Hueytown and the late Peggy Horton of Calera.

She graduated in 2007 from Shelby County High School and is currently employed at Birmingham Orthodontics.

The groom is the grandson of Herman and Mary Nix of Pleasant Grove and the late Marion Sessions of Pleasant Grove.

He graduated in 2003 from Shelby County High School and is currently employed at Andress Engineering Associates.

The wedding will be held June 7, 2008, at 2 p.m. at the Alabama 4-H Center in Columbiana
