Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Sweet of Indian Springs Village are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Carrie Anne Sweet to Samuel Benton George, son of William and Bridget George of Bethlehem, Pa.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Wolfe of Hoover and Mrs. Martha Jane Sweet and the late Mr. Jack Sweet of Saint Petersburg, Fla.

Ms. Sweet is a graduate of Auburn University where she received a bachelor of fine arts in theater.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. R.M. Hare of Ewelme, England and Mr. and Mrs. William George Sr. of Santa Fe, N.M. Mr. George is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University where he received a bachelor of fine arts in theater.

The wedding is planned for Oct. 18, 2008 at Gabrella Manor in Birmingham
