FROM STAFF REPORTS

During May, teachers at Oak Mountain Middle School have raised more than $2,000 for charity.

For the contribution of $10 teachers were given permission to wear denim any day of the week instead of the customary “Spirit Day.”

The first week, teachers raised $1,000 for the Relay for Life. Over the next two weeks, teachers donated an additional $1,000 to help a CNP staff member who has fallen seriously ill.
