Jack Wilson of Helena has been accepted into the Science and Technology Honors Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). He is the son of Van and Sara Wilson of Helena.

The science and technology program offers freshman access to the university’s world-class research resources. Wilson is graduating from Pelham High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and the varsity football and baseball teams. At UAB, he will major in biomedical engineering
