Williams wins eighth Miss Majorette title

McKenzie Williams of Alabaster recently won the title of Miss Majorette of Alabama for the Junior Division, ages 13-15.

It was the eighth year-straight that Williams won the title for her age division at the advanced level and entitles her to compete at nationals at Notre Dame University in July.

Williams finished in the Top 10 for Miss Majorette of America last year and won the World Open X-Strut, 2-Baton and 3-Baton competitions for the 12-year-old advanced division. She also won the title in the World Open Rhythmic Twirl for the preteen division.

Williams is a student at Hope Christian school and attends Kingwood Church. She is the daughter of Randall and Tammy Williams and granddaughter of Bob and Frances Festavan.
