Jonathan W. Palmer has joined the United States Army under the Delayed

Entry Program.

Palmer has reported for basic training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C., in May 2008.

He is the son of Gail A. and the stepson of Glenn R. Baker of Pelham
