Funeral service for Elizabeth Owens Whitfield, age 28, of Shelby, was at 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.

Burial followed at Crestview Memorial in Adamsville. Visitation was Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Whitfield, who passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008, at her home, was born Feb. 17, 1980, in St. Clair County.

She is survived by her husband, Christopher Whitfield; her mother-in-law, Dana Walden; her father-in-law, Michael (Vicki) Whitfield; grandfather-in-law, Daniel D. Whetstone; sister-in-law, Aimee Bullock; brother-in-law Shannon Whitfield; sister-in-law, Misty Whitfield; her father, Robert Owens I.; her mother, Margaret Whaley; her brother, Robert Owens II.; her aunt and uncle, Martha Nan and Ned Martin; her niece, Desi Ree Owens; and a host of other family and friends.
