Funeral service for Evelyn Bearden, age 69, of Shelby, will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 15, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.

Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens.

Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 pm at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Bearden, who passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at her home, was born on Jan. 27, 1939 in Sylacauga, Ala.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Bearden was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her sons, Billy Eugene Howard, Bobby Joe Howard; grandchild, Joanna Lynn Seale; parents, William and Ora Lanette Green and several brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Acy W. Bearden; children, Donna Seale, Joe Howard; step-children, Curtis (Michele) Bearden, Allen Bearden, Leta (Wesley) Goolsby, Brian (Kristi) Bearden; grandchildren, Bryan Seale, Eric (Hunter) Seale, Brandy Nicole Bates, Stephanie L. Howard, Nicole L. Howard; step-grandchildren, Adam, Sophie, Jacob, Nicole, Marie, Michael, Rachael, Felicia, Karlee, Katelyn; brother, William Green and a host of other family and friends.
