John Jones has been named store manager at the Chelsea Tractor Supply Company store that is under construction, according to District Manager Brian White.

Tractor Supply Company is the largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain in the United States.

Jones joined Tractor Supply Company as a manager trainee in Fort Payne in 2007.

Before joining Tractor Supply Company, he worked at Staples for five years, including two years as general manager.

“We are excited to have John on our leadership team,” said White.

“His experience will be a great asset to this store.”

In his new position, Jones will oversee all store operations including receiving, inventory control and merchandising, as well as customer relations and team member relations.

The new Chelsea Tractor Supply Company store is at 119 Atchison Drive. The store will open for business in early July
