Funeral service for Adele Nichols, age 88, of Columbiana, will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.

Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nichols, who passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008, at a local hospital, was born March 14, 1920, in Florence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred Nichols Sr., and a daughter, Pat Laney.

She is survived by her children, Marjie Nichols (Ashley) Chambers, Lynda Nichols (Richard) Oldham, Deborah Nichols (Harlin) Haynes, Fred (Janie) Nichols Jr., Jerry (Jessica) Nichols, Tony (Laura) Nichols; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; brothers, Frank Staggs and James Staggs; sisters, Edna Davenport, Shirley McCartney; and a host of other family and friends.
