Kirsten Shaw of Wilsonville is one of three Shelby County residents to receive a received a Pride of Dixie Band scholarship from the University of North Alabama.

Shaw is a graduate of Shelby County High School. She is the daughter of Jason and Denise Shaw.

McKenzie Britnell of Columbiana and Aly Smotherman of Montevallo also received a Pride of Dixie Band scholarship
