Former University of Montevallo volleyball coach Perry Robinson has been hired as the head volleyball coach at Second Baptist School in Houston.

Robinson, 39, left Montevallo in November after four seasons to relocate to Houston where his wife, Leslie Claybrook, is associate athletic director at Rice University.

Second Baptist won the 2007 Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) state championship.
