Ralph Vincent Novak, of Shelby, was born June 28, 1942, and passed away June 23, 2008. He left behind his wife, Betty; daughters, Alice Potchen (Robert) and Susan Brown (Dan); stepdaughters, Leigh Barnett (David) and Tracy Schmidt (Doug); granddaughters, Alexis and Inanna Potchen and Isabelle Barnett; grandsons, Kevin Sheffield, Jeffrey Smith, Jacob Hannah and Joshua Barnett; brother, Thomas William Novak; and sister, Margaret Ann Novak.

Memorial service was held at Bethlehem Baptist Church on Thursday, June 26, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Rodger Hamaker officiated.
