Kojima to coordinate special projects

Alfred Kojima has been named coordinator of special projects for the University of Montevallo athletic department. Kojima has served the past eight years as the school’s sports information director.

Kojima, a native of Torrance, Calif., will continue to serve as the official athletic historian and statistician as part of his new position. He will also be assisting with new NCAA initiatives for game-environment and community service programs. In addition, he will help coordinate special events for UM athletics, including the UM Athletics Hall of Fame. He will begin his new duties immediately.
