Graveside service for Calvin Burl Jones, age 55, of Calera was Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation began at 10 a.m. at the church. Graveside service followed visitation.

Mr. Jones passed away Friday, July 4, 2008, at his home. He was a retired truck driver.

He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Don) Whitener, and Kelly (Jason) Laster; his son, Roy (Hollie) Owens; four brothers, Claude Jones, Charles Jones, Clarence Jones and Clyde (Vicki) Jones; a sister, Catherine (Ron) Hill; and a host of other family and friends.
