J.B. and Linda Helms, of Moody, and Wallace and Linda Philips, of Vandiver, announce the marriage of their daughter, Teresa Helms Matherson, of Moody, to Frankie Overton, of Vandiver. Frankie is the son of Hattie Overton, of Vandiver.

The wedding took place at Dunnavant faith Baptist Church in Dunnavant, Ala. on June 21, 2008 at 2 p.m.

Teresa is employed with the Shelby County Board of Education.

Frankie is the owner of Frankie’s Auto and Truck Repair, in Vandiver.

The couple honeymooned at the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, N.C. and now reside in Vandiver.
