Justin Posey of Montevallo (Center) took part in a mission trip to Peru with Concord Baptist Church June 20-28. The trip focused on church members teaching in small group meetings and the reconstruction of a church building that had been devastated in an earthquake. During the week church members also witnessed 627 people making salvation decisions, 1,306 attending small groups, 837 attending children’s ministry and 10 new churches being planted. Mission trip participants plan to share more details during the morning worship service at Concord Baptist Church on Sunday, Aug. 3 at 10:30 a.m.
