Funeral service for Emma Magaline Pardue, age 79, of Vincent was held at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel on Sunday, Aug. 3, 2008 at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Lee Bevins officiated. Burial followed at Vincent Cemetery. Visitation was Aug. 2 from 5:30–8 p.m. at the chapel.
Ms. Pardue, who passed away on Aug. 1, 2008 at Brookwood Medical Center, was a member of Community Freewill Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leroy and Emma Pardue.
She is survived by three sisters, Virginia Carr, of Vincent, Maebelle Dawson, of Vincent, Marsha Thompson, of Palm Beach, S.C.; sister-in-law, Virginia Lambert, of Vincent and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included: Ray Lenning, Randy Hamilton, Rick Gray, Alex Sanders, Creed Hoyle and Grover Gibson.
