Funeral service for Rayburn Barnes, age 60, of Columbiana was Friday, Aug. 1, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.
Burial followed at Columbiana City Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday, July 31 from 6–8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.
Mr. Barnes, who passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008, at a local hospital, was born June 1, 1948 in Lamar County.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Barnes; son, Arvil Barnes; daughters, Barbara Barnes, Susan Carter; seven grandchildren; mother, Velma Glover; brothers, Harvey Barnes, Richard Barnes; sisters, Patricia Smith, Myra Wilkerson and a host of other family and friends.
