Daniel Levon Maddox, age 53, of Colorado Springs, Co. made his transition Wednesday, July 30, 2008.
He was a native of Shelby County, graduate of Shelby County High School, and a U.S. Army veteran.
Memorial services were held on Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Providence Baptist Church Shelby with interment in Shelby Cemetery.
His loving survivors are devoted son, Kevin L. Walker; brothers and sisters, Willie Gene (Rosie) Lee, Leon (Joyce) Maddox, Leroy Maddox, Edward (Iris) Maddox, Doris Cunningham, Dorothy (Clarence) Harris, and Martha (Willie) Brantley; loving aunts, Clara Salter, Hazel Smith, Addie (George) Portis, Goldie Lee, and Missouri Lee.
