Graveside service for Wilma Shaw, age 95, of Wilsonville, was Saturday, Aug.16, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Union UMC Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, Aug. 15 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.
Mrs. Shaw, who passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008, at a local hospital, was born Oct. 3, 1912, in Wilsonville.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Amos L. Shaw; son, Larry D. Shaw; daughter, Joy S. Freeze; and granddaughters, Susan Shaw, Bethany Freeze and Leslie Freeze.
She is survived by her son, David R. (Juliette) Shaw; grandchildren, Laura (Matt) Livingston, John (Emily) Shaw, Michael Shaw, Chris Shaw, Julie McGhee, Mark Shaw, Craig Shaw, Elizabeth Shaw and Allison Shaw; many great-grandchildren; nieces, Carolyn (John) Martin, Cindy Holtz and Jill Helms; nephews, Steve Helms and Kevin Helms; and a host of other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Union United Methodist Church Building Fund. Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directed.
