Funeral service for Charles Earl Templin, age 65, of Steele, Ala., was held Monday, Aug. 25 at 11 a.m. at Usrey Chapel in Pell City. Burial followed at Dargin Cemetery in Calera.
Visitation was held Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Templin, who passed away on Aug. 22, 2008 in Gadsden, was a folk instrument builder.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Templin; sons, Roger (Lisa) Templin of Calera, Robert (Kimberly) Templin of Ashville and Stephen (Afton) Templin of Steele; sister, Dorothy (Hoyt) Finley of Columbiana; brother, Bobby Ray (Susan) Templin of Aurora, Co.
He is also survived by two granddaughters, Sienna Cheyenne Templin of Ashville, Forrest Jade Templin of Ashville, and one grandson, Matthew Daryl Templin of Calera.
