Funeral service for Earl Messer, age 60, of Sterrett was Aug. 21 at 2 p.m. at Union Hill Church in Vandiver.
The Rev. Eugene Howard will officiate.
Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery to Union Hill. Visitation will be held Aug. 20 at 6 p.m. at the church.
Mr. Messer, who passed away on Aug. 19, 2008, is survived by his son, Bubba (Tonya) Partridge; daughter, Mary (Billy) Messer; sister, Carmalita (Tootie) Adkins and three grandchildren, Spencer, Shelby and Dakota.
