Frank Wheeler

Graveside service for Frank Wheeler, age 81, of Wilsonville, was Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Columbiana City Cemetery.
Visitation was Saturday, Sept. 6 from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.
Mr. Wheeler, who passed away Friday, Sept. 5, 2008 at a local hospital, was born May 2, 1927 in Wilsonville.
He served in WWII in the Army Mule Packers; member of Columbiana Methodist Church and the Luther Fowler Bible class for over 50 years; shared in teaching duties in that class for a number of years.
Mr. Wheeler was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rites; owner of Frank W. Wheeler Land Surveying.
He was also an avid fiddle player and won the 1945 MS Fiddler’s Contest.
He is survived by his wife, Sue Wheeler; daughter, Fran (Harry) Greenberg; granddaughter, Rachael Greenberg; brother, Jack Wheeler and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
