Graveside service for Katie Parrish, age 92, of Columbiana, was held Friday, Sept. 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Columbiana City Cemetery.
Mrs. Parrish, who passed away Friday, Aug. 29, 2008 at a local hospital, was born May 26, 1916 in Water Valley, Miss. She taught piano locally for 40 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, W.O. Parrish.
She is survived by her children, Michael Parrish of Rio Rancho, N.M., Kristy Parrish of Melbourne, Australia; and a host of other family and friends.
