Funeral service for Sue Pounders, age 63, of Columbiana, was Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Williams Cemetery.
Visitation was Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pounders, who passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008 at a local hospital, was born Dec. 11, 1944 in Birmingham, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Lois Smith and a sister, Gladys Smith.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond B. Pounders; children, Ramona (Steve) Wakefield, Lisa (Jason) McCall; grandchildren, Taylor and Tyler Wakefield, Coleton McCall; aunts, Layuna Chappell, Ruth Smith, Peggy Talton and a host of other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Antioch Baptist Church Building Fund.
