Shelby Academy lost its second straight game Friday, falling to Lowndes Academy, 27-0.

Brandon Tate found the end zone twice from 20 and 5 yards out. Lowndes also scored twice at the goal line, via a 1-yard sneak by Tyler Bozeman and a 3-yard dash by quarterback Anderson Casey.

The Rebels improve to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the region. With the loss, Shelby falls to 2-2 overall and 1-2 in the region.

Shelby Academy is back at home next week, hosting Springwood in an area match up.
