A Montevallo man was killed Sunday when he was thrown off his ATV in Bibb County.

Thomas Shane Anderson, 21, was pronounced dead at the scene at 12:32 p.m., said Bibb County Coroner Downey McGee. According to McGee, the ATV flipped while Anderson was riding in Bibb County’s Brierfield community.

The accident occurred around 11:45 p.m., McGee said.
