Funeral service for Sara Palmer, age 71, of Clanton, will be Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Burial will follow at New Shelby Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.
Mrs. Palmer, who passed away Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008. at a local hospital, was born on July 18, 1937, in Chilton County.
She was a member of Bay Springs Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James E. Palmer.
She is survived by her son, Michael E. Palmer; grandchildren, Michael P. (Tracy) Palmer and James Matthew Palmer; brother, Buddy (Dorothy) Cost; sisters, Barbara (Jack) McPherson, Susan Johnson and Sheila Satterfield; and a host of other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Bay Springs Baptist Church Building Fund.
