A first-quarter touchdown is all Hope would receive in Bessemer Saturday night, as the Eagles fell to Tri-County, 60-8.

Tri-County used a 32-point third quarter to break the game wide-open after holding a slim lead, 16-8, at the half.

Eric Spence ran in the lone Hope touchdown in the opening quarter, followed by a 2-point pass from Zac Hughes to Robert Jacks.

The loss snaps a four-game winning streak.

Hope (4-2) travels to undefeated Freedom academy (6-0) in Huntsville Friday at 7 p.m.
