Funeral service for Perry (Tommy) Brasher, age 74, of Jemison, will be Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.
Service will be officiated by the Rev. Dewey V. Wilhite. Burial will follow at Shelby Memory Gardens. Visitation was Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.
Mr. Brasher, who passed away Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at a local hospital, was born Nov. 22, 1933, in Shelby County.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Brasher; parents, Amos and Bertha Brasher; sisters, Treicy Brasher Price and Niecy Brasher Tapley; and a brother, F. M. Brasher.
He is survived by his son, Butch (Starr) Brasher; daughters, Regina (Kenny) Fredrick, Janet (Brian) Maynard and Renee (Phillip) Helms; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel B. Seals, Patricia B. King, Charlene B. Hames and Martis B. Skelton; loving and special companion, Joyce Price; and a host of other family and friends.
