Funeral service for Gloria Davis, age 75, of Vincent, was Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Leeds First Congregational Holiness Church. Burial will follow at Vincent City Cemetery.
Visitation was Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, from 6:30-9 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Davis, who passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, at a local hospital, was born on Aug. 12, 1933, in Sylacauga.
She is preceded in death by her sons, Terry Martin Davis, Billy Joe Sparks and grandson, David Lamar Davis.
She is survived by her husband, Junior Davis; children, Vickie (Bobby) Brooks, David (Rena’) Davis, Rhonda (Gary) Spangenberg, Kathy (Rudy) Giles, Nina (Bob) Loveless, Melissa Davis (Special Friend — Dan Swank), Shelia (Reed) Wallis; 14 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Buster Johnson and a host of other family and friends.
