John S. “Johnny” Shugrue, 76, passed away at a local hospital after a long illness.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert K. and Annie Brown Shugrue, and his granddaughter, Allison Nicole Cain.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Polly Hosmer Shugrue; children, Pam McGee (Jeff), Pat Shugrue (Sharon), Robbie Shugrue, Anna Cain (Steven); grandchildren, Brandi Barger (Jason), Landon Shugrue (Tamara), Jonathan Cain, Jeremy Cain, Zachary Cain, Justin McGee, Amber McGee; sister, Sis Stewart; brother, Ed Shugrue; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2008, at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Burial followed in Forest Grove Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. John Killian officiated. Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home directed.
