Funeral service for Cora Cherry Cales, 95, of Odenville, was Monday, Nov. 3, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Burial followed at Mt. Mariah Cemetery in Weogufka.
Visitation was Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel.
Ms. Cales, who passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at her home, was born April 16, 1913, in Jefferson County. She is preceded in death by her husband, Grover C. Holley; four children, Dorothy Faye Holley, Grover Cleveland Holley, Jr., Shirley Damone and Mike Cherry.
Ms. Cales is survived by her children, Ann Thomas, Mary Grimes, Patricia Calahan and Ray Holley; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home directed.
