Martha Aslam Khan went to the Lord on Oct. 26, 2008.
Born in Sargodha, Pakistan, she moved to the United States in April of 1978. She retired from St. Vincent’s Hospital, after working as a registered nurse for 15 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jalaluddin, brother Samuel and sister Josephine.
She is survived by her husband, Aslam Khan; son Dr. Aftab (Alex) Aslam Khan, M.D. of Vestavia Hills; daughter, Asia Irim Khan M.P.H. of Washington, D.C.; four brothers and sisters-in-law; two sisters and brother-in-law; six nephews and 13 nieces in Pakistan.
Services were held at Johns-Ridout’s Southside Chapel on Thursday, Oct. 30, at 4 p.m. with visitation two hours prior.
