Tournament time

We were so tired Saturday night; even with the help of our friends, there always seemed to be something else to be picked up and put away. We were at the church by 8 each morning and didn’t leave before 11 each night.

We started out with a 12 and a half table game on Thursday morning, which if you’ve ever played duplicate bridge before is what we refer to as a groaner –– not enough for two sections, but yet too big for one. We played two boards a round, for thirteen rounds.

We had more than a handful of out–of–town visitors from Atlanta, Florence, Tuscaloosa, Tallassee, Gadsden, Anniston and Auburn. Everyone had a good time. Our next tournament will be April 9–11.
