Chelsea showed lack of class as well

Dear Editor,

I am writing in response to a letter you received last week. It was from a Chelsea fan concerning the biased article from the Chelsea vs. Shelby County game.

If Chelsea fans have a problem with the officials, they should take that up with the AHSAA. Even if it was a bad call, I highly doubt it would have made a difference in the final score.

I agree that our boys shouldn’t have run to the other side, but if fingers are going to be pointed about class, it should be at Chelsea as well. Every away game, our band parents go to the home side to watch the band. This game many parents were tripped by the Chelsea students and were called derogatory names as well.

Our fans and town work hard to support our team. Why doesn’t Chelsea focus more on that rather than a one-sided article? Roll Shelby!
