Alabama State Troopers are still working an accident on I-65 North at mile marker 245, where a tractor trailer driver lost 1,000 pounds of chicken on the highway.

According to the Birmingham state trooper’s office, the accident occurred at 1:05 p.m. Thursday. No injuries were reported.

Only one northbound lane is open to traffic. Exact details of the accident have not been released.
