Funeral service for Leslie “Les” Brown, age 75, of Columbiana, was held Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Childersburg 1st United Methodist Church. Burial followed at Pinelawn Gardens.
Visitation was Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.
Mr. Brown, who passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008 at a local hospital, was born on Aug. 27, 1933 in Jefferson County.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth Jackie Brown; children, Leslie (Kathy) Brown, Lynn (Gary) Wilson, David (Tammy) Brown; grandchildren, Katie and Carl Brown, Justin and Joey Wilson, Kiyra Gallups, Durell Brown, Jessica Roach, Amber Waterhouse, Jonathon Roach; three great–grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
