The Church at Shelby Crossings, located in Calera, will kick off its year of “Focus on the Family,” with an event Jan. 4.

The church will present Jesus in the Jewish Festivals through two different and distinct services presented by Light of the Messiah Ministries.

The first program will be at 9 a.m. and focus on the Judeo/Christian heritage. The second portion will be held at 10 a.m. and discuss the experience of communion led by a Jewish believer.
