In memory of loving mother and grandmother, born Aug. 3, 1933, passed away Jan. 3, 2009.
Graveside funeral service for Margaret Clark Hamner, age 75, of Alabaster, will be held Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2009, at 2:30 p.m. at Mars Hill Cemetery in Jemison.
Hamner, who passed away Jan. 3 in Bessemer, was a homemaker. She was a member of Alabaster First Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Perry Hamner; parents, Albert E. Clark and Mildred Clark and brother, Bobby Clark.
She is survived by daughters, Glynis (Jim) McGill of Slidell, La. and Linda (Wayne) Clayton of Alabaster; grandchildren, Jakob, Ben and Madison Clayton and Dorian and Dominik Bennett; great-grandchildren, Dugan and Clark Clayton, Dave and Drew Bennett and Hannah McGill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The American Lung Association of Alabama, 3125 Independence Dr., Ste 325, Birmingham, Ala. 35209.
