Ruby Cribbs Morgan, age 84, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2008.
She had been a Helena resident since 1960 and was a long-time member of Helena Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by husband, Paul H. Cribbs Sr.; a son, Ronnie Cribbs; parents, Herbert and Nora Peoples; and husband, B.G. Morgan.
Survivors include two sisters, Nell (Dick) Wall and Judy (Grover) Easter; two sons, Paul H. Cribbs Jr. and Ken (Sherri) Cribbs; five grandchildren, Kristi (Scott) Fortner, Tracy (Ronnie) Gillen, Paula (Steven) Gay, Keith (Jeri) Cribbs, and Lee (Adam) Short; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008, at Ridout’s Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham.
The funeral service was at 2:30 p.m. the same day in the funeral home’s chapel, and burial followed in Helena City Cemetery.
The family requests that memorial gifts be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
