Funeral service for Walter Reeder “Pete” Mitchell, age 69, of Columbiana, will be Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009 at 11 a.m. at Bolton-Letlow Chapel. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 2, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. at Bolton-Letlow Funeral Home.
Mr. Mitchell, who passed away Monday, Dec. 29, 2008 at a local hospital, was born on July 3, 1939 in Foley, Ala. He is a member of the Columbiana Church of the Nazarene.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Mitchell; brothers and sister, Tom Mitchell, Jack (Virginia) Mitchell, Marjorie Golembiewzki, J.D. Mitchell, Bobby (Shirley) Mitchell, James (Martha) Mitchell, Charles Mitchell and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
