Betty Jo White

Funeral service for Betty White, age 68, of Columbiana, will be Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Bolton Letlow Chapel with the Rev. Ray Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Helena City Cemetery. Visitation was held Thursday, Jan. 22, 2009, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. White, who passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009, at a local hospital, was born, April 10, 1940, in Harpersville.
She is survived by her children, John Samuel Cox, Matilda Benton, Cynthia Jo Poole, Mary Alice Blackmon, Floyd Carson Cox and Emily Delene Berry; 14 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Dolly Faye Basso; brother, Marvin Hill; and a host of other family and friends.
