Mr. Creamer, who passed away Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009, at his home, was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Siluria.
He was a member of Camp Branch United Methodist Church. Mr. Creamer was a school bus driver for more than 25 years. He was also owner of Aldridge Groceries with his wife. He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Creamer, and daughter, Hilda Bynum.
He is survived by daughter, Jane C. Noe; granddaughters; Ava (Dr. Robert E.) Hamric, Dawn Newberry and Mindy Noe; great-granddaughter, Ashlei Almand; brother, Jackie (Alene) Creamer; sister, Mabel (Otha) Denard; and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Our extended family includes his caregivers over the last four years; Jo Thrash, Barbara Kidd, Ernestine Lee and Ava Gatson. They were love givers, not just care givers. They showered Daddy with love. Another part of our extended family are our neighbors, Don, Ann and Logan Moncrief who were there for us all the time.
Words cannot express the gratitude and love to the New Beacon Hospice staff that blessed our home to take care of Daddy. Special love goes out to Bev Pomeroy, Daddy’s nurse who cared for him for four years.
Flowers are very much welcome or donations can be made to New Beacon Hospice, 122 7th Avenue NE, Suite D, Alabaster, AL 35007.
